On the 14th of June in the capital of Belarus the first Round of Eastern European Drift Championship will take place. The official partner of the event is a refueling stations network “Gazpromneft”.

“G-Drive Drift Minsk” is a grandiose drift competition which will invite the strongest pilots from Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and other countries. The special guest of the competition will be Chris Forsberg (USA) – one of the most successful world drifters, a champion of Formula Drift USA in 2014.

The event program is divided in several days. On the 12th of June, a conference of drifters will be held where a new electronic judging system will be presented for the first time used in EEDC. On the 13th of June the participants will take part in closed trainings after which their cars will be exhibited at the territory of a refueling stations network “Gazpromneft” located at 84-Kizhevatova str. in Minsk. The competitions will be held on the 14th of June, the guests of sport event are expected to participate in qualifying runs, drift-taxi, TOP-32 runs. It’s the first time a “Super Tandem Battle” will be held – the winner of qualifying will be able to choose a rival for a pair driving demonstration run after primary runs.

Spectators will have a chance to spend an interesting day with a family. At the territory of the airport “Minsk-1” “Gazpromneft” organizes an entertainment program with drawing prizes. The organizer also prepared different activities for young spectators.
